Advanced Bibliographic Search
Advanced search options
- Author search
Searches the author field of the bibliographic database. To search by author, enter the author's last name or the the first few letters of a last name.
- Journal search
This search allows you to look for citations by selecting journal titles and then navigating from the journal level to the issue level and to individual citations. Start by typing in any part of a journal title to find all similarly named journals.
- New additions search
Shows recently added citations in order of newest first. Entering 09-01-00 would limit results to citations added AFTER September of 2000.
- Full text search
This search looks for the text you specify in the Title, Abstract, and Author fields. This search only returns articles containing text exactly matching the search text. You should use partial words (like 'psych' instead of 'psychology') to return more results ('psychological','psychosis','psychiatry',etc.) Also, this search treats consecutive words as phrases, so to search for two or more words that do not need to occur together or in any specific order, you should use 'and' between each word. The boolean operators 'or' and 'not' are also supported.
