The Service is comprised of metropolitan and rural based professionals who provide video conference services in the form of patient assessments, reviews and GP support to formulate management plans for patients in rural South Australia.
The service has been underway since 1994 and formally moved beyond "project" status in October 1995 when it became integrated within the Department of Human Services.
In 1998 the organisation implemented the Attend scheduling system to enable accurate management and reporting of all activities for the state to measure trends in applications, users, faults, cancellations and other performance indicators. |
